The Faces Behind our Success

I like to say that “presentations are all about leadership” because since the 1990’s I have been training and coaching managers, engineers, and top executives around the world to speak effectively when addressing international business audiences, both internally and externally. Leaders with poor oral communication skills jeopardize success, while engaged and charismatic speakers can ensure it.
Living in France with my American background has taught me that short, clear, and explicit presentations are the keys to winning in a global economy. This is especially true when English is used in a multicultural environment, with both native and non-native speakers and audiences. Clarity is paramount when presenting to a multinational public, not only linguistically, but also in the structure and delivery of key messages.
This is a constant, however, screen-to-screen communication has become a predominant factor in the ways we do business. As such, many added difficulties have emerged for leaders today: how to present, sell, negotiate, influence, give feedback, run meetings, and build effective teams.
These are the areas of SCREEN LEADERSHIP that Bob Larcher, and I have been developing since the onset of the COVID pandemic. We combined our training and coaching experience with world renowned multinational firms for over 30 years to bring new light into the world of leadership and communication.

I like to say that “leadership is not just about presentations” because communicating effectively is the minimum requirement for managers today. With it, the tasks of leadership are easier; without it, they are virtually impossible to achieve. I have been working with all types of leaders in both small, and large firms around the world to help them discover their full potential and develop the skills to drive successful business decisions.
Successful leadership skills haven’t changed, and they still make the difference when managing others. Yet today, we must add the new layer of Screen-to-Screen communication to ensure survival and success in the digital world since Covid.
Being British and living in France has taught me a very pragmatic approach to management. I believe that the development of leaders is possible only when one takes a step back to reflect on the different actions to carry out, and this is even more true when the medium to communicate has evolved to a less physical and more digital communication.
Together with Steve Dillingham, we are very pleased to be at the leading edge of changing the way in which leaders today will see their development and evolution faced with the Screen-to-Screen challenges of presenting, selling, negotiating, influencing, giving feedback, running meetings, and building teams.

Senior MARKETING Director
I like to say that “there was a life before, and a life after” because Steve trained me in high level presentation skills almost 20 years ago, and it marked me forever. At the time, I was a senior marketing analyst in a large multinational firm, I traveled around the world, and what I learned changed my career. As I developed my leadership skills, I became more and more aware of the critical importance of speaking to groups, both internally and externally. The link of communication and leadership was overwhelmingly evident, as I grew into a senior executive position.
I had enjoyed the pleasures of speaking in front of small groups in my teams, hundreds of customers in conferences, and even in audiences of over 1000 for many years.
Yet, as I approached 50, I realized that my desire to reach out and help others evolve was growing stronger and stronger by the day. At the same time, the ways to communicate were changing due to the pandemic, and once more my life changed.
I decided to fulfill the gap in my professional life to inspire and assist other managers, in small, medium, and large firms as I joined the team that Steve and Bob created with Screen Leadership.
As an experienced Frenchman, with international leadership experience, coupled with a strong capacity to inspire communication to others, I believe that managers today can bridge the gap to successfully lead their teams remotely with the new skill sets we are developing at www.screen-leadership.com.
